# 005 vetting log (PREREG §4) — run 1

Pipeline disclosure: question vetting is HUMAN per the frozen design; the
vetter is Jakub Dudek. An ADVISORY pre-annotator — GPT-5.6 Sol via Codex,
chosen because it is not a contestant and belongs to a different model
family than every contestant — applied the §4 rubric first and its
recommendations are published below; every decision recorded here is the
human vetter's (confirm/override), and no recommendation was binding.
Vetting used birth-corpus material only (the drift-asserted corpus
appendix); drafts were presented in the §4 shuffle order
(sort by id code-unit asc, Fisher–Yates, mulberry32(20260711)).

## Wave 1 (85 drafts) — STRUCK IN TOTO
Sol round-1: 85/85 STRIKE ambiguous-resolution (uniform: confirmed uniform), root cause
systematic — the checkpoint-FINAL §3 drafter prompt omitted the §5.1
field constraints, so every source was a bare URL without a retrieval
rule (verified mechanically, 85/85) and every graceRule lacked an
ISO-8601 instant (85/85). The human vetter confirmed all 85 strikes by
electing the redraft remedy (deviations row 22). Full per-draft
justifications: sol-annotations.jsonl (committed alongside this log).
First failing criterion: (a). Drafting was re-run as wave 2 under the
amended prompt.

## Wave 2 (84 drafts) — vetted per-draft
Sol round-2 recommendations: 28 KEEP / 0 TIGHTEN / 56 STRIKE
(53 ambiguous-resolution, 1 non-binary, 1 malformed,
1 already-decided-at-birth); outcome-knowledge-risk flags: 0.
**Human vetter decision (Jakub, 2026-07-11, one sitting, recorded
verbatim): "Confirm all, don't inflate n." — all 28 KEEPs and all 56
strikes confirmed as the vetter's own decisions; zero overrides; zero
TIGHTEN edits.** Resulting question set: 28 questions over 22 events
(deterministic inclusion; the protocol's no-target-count rule was
applied explicitly against inflating n).

classTag note (§5.2): all 88 wave-2 tags are in the frozen codebook; the
wave-1 draft q-3d03e1d7-1 carried an off-codebook tag
(diplomatic-action), recorded here for completeness (wave 1 is struck).

## Wave-2 per-draft record
(Sol reasoning published verbatim; decision = vetter-confirmed.)

| # | id | decision | strikeReason | reasoning |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | q-5be27879-1 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | The named pages could resolve the coaching change, but dissolving or suspending Ligue 1 does not dissolve LOSC Lille or its head-coach role. That VOID clause is not a concrete V2 condition and can exclude an otherwise ordinary YES or NO. |
| 2 | q-a3b18489-2 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | This asks about the separate February rebellion conviction rather than the birth event's June drone-case sentence. The subject drift makes it a forecast about a different legal story. |
| 3 | q-e8968a75-1 | KEEP | | The World Athletics profile identifies the first qualifying competition and its placing, and the conditions cleanly divide a win from a non-win conditional on no qualifying appearance. The non-participation VOID concretely dissolves the presupposed competition instance. |
| 4 | q-8d9dba5d-1 | KEEP | | The official Congress records identify whether the specified election motion was approved, rejected, withdrawn, or not voted on. Cancellation of the entire specified plenary sitting is a concrete premise-dissolution contingency. |
| 5 | q-823927c0-1 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | A postponement beyond the deadline does not end Switzerland's second group match; it is also expressly included in the NO condition as a match not completed by the deadline. The VOID therefore swallows an ordinary NO without instantiating V2. |
| 6 | q-3d03e1d7-2 | KEEP | | The Polish ministry and PAP rules distinguish an official postponement or cancellation from commencement or no such announcement. A force-majeure event rendering the scheduled conference physically impossible concretely dissolves the premise. |
| 7 | q-7f66b995-1 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | Suspension or postponement past the deadline does not make the World Cup qualification process cease to exist. The VOID can remove an unresolved ordinary tournament state without satisfying V1, V2, or the source-publication form of V3. |
| 8 | q-b5d8bf44-1 | KEEP | | The Royal Household announcements and Reuters search can determine whether a named heir was officially designated during the window. Death or abdication of the king before designation concretely dissolves the stated premise. |
| 9 | q-16d4db8b-1 | KEEP | | Council press releases and the Official Journal can identify formal adoption by the stated deadline. Abandonment of the agreement by both parties before a Council decision is a concrete V2 dissolution of the implementation process. |
| 10 | q-95d2ad2e-2 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | Postponing the presidential election does not prevent Real Madrid from hiring or declining to hire José Mourinho by the deadline. The VOID is therefore not V2 and can swallow an ordinary hiring outcome. |
| 11 | q-7ab6c1d8-1 | KEEP | | The two club news feeds directly distinguish an official Marc Cucurella transfer announcement from its absence by the deadline. Retirement before the transfer would concretely dissolve the professional-transfer premise. |
| 12 | q-8681ac31-1 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | Postponement of the Queen's Club tournament beyond July 1 does not make the tournament or pairing cease to exist, while the NO condition already covers not playing. The compound VOID therefore includes an ordinary NO outside V2. |
| 13 | q-823927c0-2 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | Group B remaining incomplete by the deadline is not premise dissolution; the qualification process may simply finish later. That clause is neither V2 nor the required source-specific V3 and can swallow an ordinary unresolved tournament state. |
| 14 | q-e8c18ab5-2 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | Termination would dissolve the accession process, but mere suspension does not. The combined VOID is overbroad and can remove an ordinary NO while negotiations still exist. |
| 15 | q-e8968a75-2 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | The record threshold and sources are precise, but voidConditions is empty. Section 5.1 requires at least one concrete V1, V2, or V3 instantiation for every retained question. |
| 16 | q-b0699fe8-1 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | A US-Iran peace treaty is not a development of the birth event about the Federal Reserve's rate decision. This is subject drift to a separate story. |
| 17 | q-881101ba-1 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | Replacing the governor of Irkutsk Oblast is not a development of the Tu-22M3 crash story. The question changes subjects from the aircraft incident to unrelated regional leadership. |
| 18 | q-481c3dfd-1 | KEEP | | The club and New York Times retrieval rules can establish whether the announced championship celebration actually occurred. Vacating the title would concretely dissolve the championship-celebration premise. |
| 19 | q-cf1415d8-1 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | Kaja Kallas could still deny or clarify the comparison after leaving the High Representative post, including through the named personal account. Leaving office therefore does not dissolve the question premise and is an overbroad VOID. |
| 20 | q-356eb3b6-2 | KEEP | | The official deputy directory and the specified news search can determine whether Santos Cerdán ceased holding his seat. Dissolution of the Congress would concretely end the presupposed seat and is a valid V2 contingency. |
| 21 | q-3fe38d6e-2 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | Temporary suspension of all ministry functions during an emergency does not mean the ministry or publication process ceased to exist. The compound VOID extends beyond V2 and can swallow the ordinary non-publication outcome. |
| 22 | q-a52acc1b-1 | KEEP | | The FCDO and BBC rules identify a formal summons tied to the specified yacht incident and distinguish it from no summons. An official finding that the incident was fabricated concretely dissolves the question's premise. |
| 23 | q-2e4a0893-1 | KEEP | | The named state-media pages and AP rule can determine whether a joint statement or communiqué was issued during the visit window. Cancellation or non-occurrence of the visit is a concrete V2 contingency. |
| 24 | q-3367c326-1 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | Ibrahima Konaté's possible signing is not a development of the Bernardo Silva signing event. Sharing Real Madrid as a club does not cure the change of player and transaction. |
| 25 | q-7f66b995-2 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | A permanent club transfer for Ismaël Koné is not a development of Canada's World Cup win and his match injury. The question drifts from the event's competition and injury story to an unrelated transfer market outcome. |
| 26 | q-6c2b0c97-2 | KEEP | | Both named historical weekend charts directly rank the films for June 19–21 and distinguish Toy Story 5 at number one from every other film. The no-data condition names both sources and concretely instantiates V3. |
| 27 | q-6c2b0c97-1 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | The live Rotten Tomatoes page does not preserve its score at the specified past instant, and an archive snapshot merely closest to 16:00 UTC may fall before or after a score change. The stated rules therefore cannot determine the exact-time threshold in mid-July. |
| 28 | q-f18572bf-2 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | Postponement of the Bad Homburg Open beyond July does not make that tournament cease to exist, while the NO condition already covers non-participation. The compound VOID includes an ordinary NO outside V2. |
| 29 | q-a3b18489-1 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | Yonhap and Reuters searches can confirm a reported filing but cannot establish that no legal filing occurred; no court docket or exhaustive filing page is named. A stranger could therefore misclassify an unreported appeal as NO. |
| 30 | q-8681ac31-2 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | Postponing Wimbledon beyond July 1 does not prevent a singles wildcard from being awarded and does not make the tournament cease to exist. The VOID can therefore swallow an ordinary YES or NO outside V2. |
| 31 | q-7ecc993b-2 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | Postponement of Germany's opening match past June 15 does not dissolve the opening match; it only delays the lineup datum. The VOID is not V2 and does not state the source-specific publication failure required for V3. |
| 32 | q-d31fd042-1 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | A postponement only through July 10 leaves the second match capable of occurring after the July 1 deadline, but the conditions do not classify that non-VOID interval. The VOID also treats delay as premise dissolution, so the outcome partition is not exhaustive. |
| 33 | q-2b08e558-1 | KEEP | | The named INE pages identify the June flash annual CPI rate, and 3.3% or higher versus 3.2% or lower exhausts the published one-decimal categories. Non-publication of that specific official estimate concretely instantiates V3. |
| 34 | q-95d2ad2e-1 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | The VOID uses July 3 despite a June 15 deadline and grace expiry, and its 'official or highly credible' confirmation test is discretionary rather than the narrowed two-source V3 check. It also overlaps the NO treatment of postponement and cancellation. |
| 35 | q-0ec59700-2 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | AAA's live dashboard is time-varying, but the question supplies no observation instant on June 22, and the archive rule supplies no exact-time snapshot rule. A mid-July resolver cannot know which intra-day value the threshold refers to. |
| 36 | q-a79d1f07-1 | KEEP | | The ministry report and EPData rule identify the same June average-affiliation figure, with a complete numeric split at 22,450,000. If the official June datum is not published, the fallback cannot supply that official figure, making the stated V3 contingency concrete. |
| 37 | q-c34f9464-1 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | The question is defined on the front-month Brent futures settlement, but the fallback rule reads EIA Europe Brent spot prices. Those are different series, so the fallback can produce a different YES or NO from the stated criterion. |
| 38 | q-2110b2c3-1 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | The NO condition expressly classifies no public funeral mass as NO, while the VOID removes the same ordinary outcome. That clause is not a source-unavailability condition and defeats the stated binary partition. |
| 39 | q-6f9f6672-1 | STRIKE | non-binary | The USD threshold is extended to an 'equivalent' GBP or EUR estimate without specifying an exchange-rate source, rate date, or conversion rule. The comparison is therefore not fully numeric for non-USD auction estimates. |
| 40 | q-12aa1a06-2 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | Either person could meet the other after leaving presidential office, because the question is about the named individuals rather than an office-holder meeting. Leaving office therefore does not dissolve the premise and is an overbroad VOID. |
| 41 | q-fef4bee5-1 | KEEP | | The MoD and NCA release pages can determine whether Smyrtos was officially released or remained detained. Sinking, destruction, or a catastrophic loss of the vessel concretely dissolves the release-from-custody premise. |
| 42 | q-cf1415d8-2 | KEEP | | The two officials' institutional pages can document an official bilateral meeting or joint press conference and its absence in the window. Departure of either named office-holder concretely dissolves the official bilateral premise. |
| 43 | q-37435e85-1 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | An IAEA statement that hostilities prevented an inspection is an observable reason for the ordinary NO outcome, not V1, V2, or the narrowed V3. The VOID therefore swallows a non-inspection that the NO condition should classify. |
| 44 | q-ccdd5a0b-1 | KEEP | | The Meta newsroom and Reuters technology search can distinguish an official cyberattack attribution from no such attribution or an internal-cause attribution. Cessation of Meta as a corporate entity concretely dissolves the announcement premise. |
| 45 | q-f18572bf-1 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | Postponing Wimbledon beyond July does not make the tournament cease to exist and does not prevent a singles wildcard award. The compound VOID therefore includes an ordinary outcome outside V2. |
| 46 | q-c34f9464-2 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | Closure of the Swiss protecting-power channel does not dissolve US-Iran negotiations, which the YES condition permits to be direct or conducted through other mediators. The VOID can hold while the question remains answerable YES or NO. |
| 47 | q-2e4a0893-2 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | The test criterion and named monitoring sources are usable, but voidConditions is empty. Section 5.1 requires at least one concrete V1, V2, or V3 instantiation. |
| 48 | q-05d64025-1 | KEEP | | The DBU and Wolfsburg news pages can identify an official retirement announcement and distinguish it from no announcement by the deadline. Death before an announcement concretely dissolves the player-retirement premise. |
| 49 | q-d31fd042-2 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | A Denzel Dumfries transfer is not a development of the birth event announcing Ibrahima Konaté's signing. The question switches to a different player and transaction. |
| 50 | q-12b79b13-2 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | The repeat-shootdown criterion is otherwise binary, but voidConditions is empty. The frozen template requires at least one concrete V1, V2, or V3 condition. |
| 51 | q-a6d095e7-2 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | A prolonged closure of Kuwait International Airport is not a development of the US strikes on Iranian radar sites and intercepted Iranian drones. The question drifts to a different country's airport, and its non-military-closure VOID would also swallow an ordinary NO. |
| 52 | q-ccdd5a0b-2 | KEEP | | The two specified CISA listings can be exhaustively checked for an advisory or news item naming the Meta outage. Because both sources are pages on the same CISA site, complete site unavailability concretely instantiates V1. |
| 53 | q-a52acc1b-2 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | BBC and Guardian searches can confirm reported bail but cannot prove that an English court did not grant bail; no court record or docket is named. The question also drifts from the yacht warning-shots event to the unrelated Smyrtos prosecution. |
| 54 | q-cacbbdf5-2 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | No ATP tournament being held in the window is an ordinary route to Cobolli winning no title; it does not mean the ATP Tour process ceased to exist. The VOID therefore removes an ordinary NO without satisfying V2. |
| 55 | q-fef4bee5-2 | KEEP | | The English and Russian versions of the ministry's own news portal can be searched for the named vessel and the specified condemnation or demand. Complete unavailability of their shared site for the entire window concretely instantiates V1. |
| 56 | q-12b79b13-1 | KEEP | | The two Latvian official news pages can determine whether authorities attributed the June 8 drone to Russia. An official finding that no drone was shot down concretely dissolves the event premise. |
| 57 | q-05d64025-2 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | The VOID restates the ordinary NO condition: no official record, decision, or status update by the deadline. It is not a two-source V3 datum failure and allows VOID to absorb the forecast's intended negative outcome. |
| 58 | q-e8c18ab5-1 | STRIKE | malformed | The event was born on June 12, but the deadline is June 16, only four calendar days later. It violates the preregistered minimum horizon of birth plus seven days. |
| 59 | q-852c54bc-2 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | Physical incapacity does not necessarily end Pedro Sánchez's office or make a resignation announcement impossible; he could remain in office without resigning. The compound VOID therefore includes an ordinary NO outside V2. |
| 60 | q-0ec59700-1 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | The VOID waits until June 25 even though the deadline and grace expire on June 18, and it does not state that neither named source published the rate decision. A postponed meeting or late statement is not encoded as the narrowed V3 and leaves the partition inconsistent. |
| 61 | q-12aa1a06-1 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | A Chukotka-Alaska tunnel agreement is not a development of Zelenskyy inviting Putin to bilateral peace talks. The drafter followed an unrelated live-ticker item rather than the event's story. |
| 62 | q-307e0001-2 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | The YES condition permits confirmation by Canada, FIFA, or the Ghana FA, but the named pages cover only the Ghana FA and a non-exhaustive New York Times search. Their silence cannot prove that Canada or FIFA issued no entry clearance. |
| 63 | q-b5d8bf44-2 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | No mourning announcement is the question's ordinary NO outcome, yet the VOID removes that same state. Non-discussion by the government is not V1, V2, or the narrowed source-specific V3. |
| 64 | q-3a7b5c02-1 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | Instagram stories expire, and neither the later profile view nor an unspecified Archive.org snapshot reliably preserves every story in the target window. A stranger in mid-July therefore cannot decide whether any story was posted. |
| 65 | q-6f9f6672-2 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | The VOID mentions only the Tate press site being unavailable, while the named Art Newspaper fallback can remain available. It therefore does not instantiate V1, which requires both primary and fallback to be unavailable. |
| 66 | q-37435e85-2 | KEEP | | The SNRIU and IAEA rules can determine whether authorities reported radiation above operational limits, and the birth corpus only reports then-stable levels rather than deciding the future window. Destruction of the facility making site monitoring impossible concretely dissolves the monitoring premise. |
| 67 | q-307e0001-1 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | The NO condition classifies a match not played by June 25 as NO, while the VOID removes the same postponed, canceled, or abandoned state. Postponement is not premise cessation, so the VOID can swallow an ordinary NO. |
| 68 | q-8d9dba5d-2 | KEEP | | The BOE decree search and La Moncloa statements can determine whether Pedro Sánchez called early elections by the cutoff. His departure from the presidency before doing so concretely dissolves the office-holder premise. |
| 69 | q-852c54bc-1 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | The CGPJ judicial-news page does not publish every appellate order, and an El País search is not a court docket. Silence on both pages cannot establish that no passport ruling was issued. |
| 70 | q-16d4db8b-2 | KEEP | | The Official Journal search directly determines whether either specified implementing regulation was published by the deadline, with the Commission page as corroboration. Complete abandonment or replacement of the agreement concretely dissolves the specified implementation premise. |
| 71 | q-2110b2c3-2 | STRIKE | already-decided-at-birth | The appendix's birth-event heading states that Pope Leo XIV, not Pope Francis, is to preside over Cardinal Ruini's funeral. The requested Pope Francis outcome is therefore already decided as NO in the permitted birth-corpus appendix. |
| 72 | q-3a7b5c02-2 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | The VOID only makes the Ministry of Culture site unavailable; the named Google site-search fallback may remain available and surface the official statement. It therefore fails V1's requirement that both resolution sources be unavailable. |
| 73 | q-b0699fe8-2 | KEEP | | The Federal Reserve calendar and press-release archive can identify an event that occurred and distinguish it from none in the window. Warsh leaving the chair before the deadline concretely dissolves the stated office-holder premise. |
| 74 | q-881101ba-2 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | The YES condition includes an announcement by the Russian Ministry of Defense or RIA Novosti, but the retrieval rules inspect only TASS and Interfax. A qualifying announcement on an omitted named authority could make YES true while both stated searches suggest NO. |
| 75 | q-3d03e1d7-1 | KEEP | | Sybiha's Facebook page and PAP search can determine whether he confirmed a completed return or formal renunciation; the birth corpus reports only his intention to return it soon. The serialized draft uses the on-codebook leadership-change tag, despite the packet's contrary note, so no tag edit is made. |
| 76 | q-3fe38d6e-1 | KEEP | | The official prime-minister page plus BBC political coverage can establish whether Starmer continuously retained the office through the deadline. Cessation of the UK government or sovereign entity concretely dissolves that office premise. |
| 77 | q-ad263723-2 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | The World Cup being suspended at any point in the period does not prevent qualifying matches before or after the suspension from producing YES or NO. The VOID is broader than V2 and can remove an otherwise decidable tournament window. |
| 78 | q-ad263723-1 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | Postponement of the Paraguay-Australia match does not make the match cease to exist, while the question specifically asks whether Almirón played on June 26. The VOID can therefore swallow the ordinary NO created by a rescheduled match. |
| 79 | q-a79d1f07-2 | KEEP | | The ministry report and EPData rule identify the same official June registered-unemployment figure, with a complete numeric split at 2,280,000. If the ministry does not publish that official datum, the fallback cannot supply the specified official figure, concretely instantiating V3. |
| 80 | q-481c3dfd-2 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | A Jalen Brunson contract extension is a separate roster transaction, not a development of the Knicks' championship result and public celebration story. The question changes the event subject despite retaining the same team. |
| 81 | q-7ecc993b-1 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | A postponed opening match still exists and can later be won or lost, so postponement past June 15 does not instantiate V2. The VOID also does not state the two-source no-result publication check required for V3. |
| 82 | q-cacbbdf5-1 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | The fallback names the WTA rankings page for an ATP men's ranking and then substitutes an open-ended set of other outlets. Applied as written, that wrong and non-specific source rule cannot reliably decide Zverev's ATP rank. |
| 83 | q-a6d095e7-1 | KEEP | | The State Department and Reuters rules can identify a signed bilateral peace or permanent-ceasefire agreement and distinguish it from no signing. Cessation of either sovereign state concretely dissolves the bilateral-agreement premise. |
| 84 | q-356eb3b6-1 | STRIKE | ambiguous-resolution | The CGPJ news page and El País search do not constitute exhaustive dockets for both named courts. Their silence cannot establish that neither court issued an archiving order, so the stated rule cannot reliably decide NO. |
